Our UISC Salute to Service Houston Texans Game Night was TONS of fun! This UISC hosted event was for our brothers and sisters in arms to show our appreciation for their service. We treated them and their family members to tickets and an amazing pre-game experience as the Houston Texans took on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
The amazing day started with a pre-game experience where everyone was invited to go down to the 50 yard line for pictures. While down on the field, attendants got to see the cheerleaders practice and perform, as well as see some of the football players during warm-ups. It was an experience to remember!
After that, attendants were invited to an optional tailgate experience where they provided games for the kids (and kids of all ages!) and had a DJ performing to get the crowd pumped!
Then it was GO TIME! We made our way to our seats and watched the game where we indulged in lots of snacks and treats. We cheered for the home team and in the end, the Houston Texans came out with the victory! 39 - 37! Go Team!
Everyone in attendance had such a thrilling time and laughter was shared by all! It's such a special honor to be able to treat these veterans and their families, and it's only a small way in which we can show our gratitude for all they've done.
